The Adorable 8 are 5 weeks old!
Our spoodle puppies are now busy, curious, and playful, learning their place in the pack and enjoying their food with growing enthusiasm. Mum has started gently weaning them and teaching important behaviours, while we guide them with love and daily positive experiences.

What do we feed our dogs and puppies?
We believe that giving our puppies the best start in life begins with nutrition. Our dogs are fed Vets All-Natural complete mix combined with raw meat, a diet that supports strong energy, shiny coats, and great condition. This is also the first food the puppies are being introduced to.
We also supplement with Advance dry food, providing families with a quality alternative to raw feeding.

Week 5 Highlights
It has been a busy week for the Adorable 8!
On the move: They are wagging their tails, playing, and starting to interact more with each other and us. Their curiosity is blossoming as they explore their surroundings.
Social skills: Puppies learn a lot through play. This week they’re discovering pack behaviour and learning the rules of the “playground” with their siblings. Mum is actively guiding them too, helping to set boundaries.
Exploring the world: They’re now ready for more exposure to everyday objects and textures — things to climb on, run through, and investigate. This kind of play helps build confidence and resilience.
Looking ahead: Next week we’ll begin teaching the puppies how to use the doggy door!
Sights & sounds: We’ve expanded the sound training this week using the Soundproof Puppy Training app, which includes recordings of fireworks, thunderstorms, and even power tools. We start with volumes so low they’re barely audible, gradually increasing the level over several weeks. This calm and careful exposure helps ensure the puppies grow into tolerant, confident adults.
Daily handling: We continue our 10 gentle daily handling exercises, increasing the pressure slightly as the puppies grow stronger. Each day they become more responsive and confident. These exercises prepare them for grooming, vet visits, and everyday handling. We gently rub their ears, cover their eyes, open their mouths, rub their tummies, run our hands over their bodies, and touch their feet, noses, and nails. This helps them manage stress and anxiety, and builds calm, resilient companions for the future.
